Howard Johnson Bur Dubai

All in all everything was perfect, had an amazing stay for one night. The location in a nice enough area was particularly good and there were local markets and a market nearby. Also, we could visit Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque that was 10 minutes walk away🙂

We booked deluxe room and enjoyed it. The bed was comfortable and it was great having an electric kettle, a mini bar fridge, and climate control. The hotel was in a central setting in the heart of Dubai.

I loved that the hotel was just a short stroll to Meena Bazaar, where I found fantastic gifts at great prices, and enjoyed relaxing walks along the nearby parks with fine views of the Dubai skyline, making my weekend city explorations nice.

The breakfast was large with tasty meals. We got a room with a bath.

The staff were friendly and helpful . I loved thevery comfy and tidy room. The location was convenient, close to shops. The breakfast offered great options. It was a pleasant experience 😊

It was good & comfortable stay at this 3 star hotel..... No worries.... Except longer check-in time of almost 30mins....... Hotel staffs - lack of smiley faces...

Ideally located in Burjuman within walking distance to Meena Bazaar, Gold souk, and other shopping areas. Rooms were comfortable and ideal for a couple.

t will be better to prepare a map for the taxi drivers. It was very frustrating because the two taxis I took had difficulty finding the hotel. Spoke with one of them and he says that most of the taxi drivers know the hotel by the name 'Highland' and not 'Howard Johnson'. How can people even sleep with all that noise from the night club below? very disturbing and I would never stay in this hotel again

They greeted me warmly and accommodated my requests with ease. I appreciated how helpful they were. After a long day exploring, it was nice to feel welcomed.

I had issues with noise from a nightclub that disrupted my sleep. Despite requesting a quiet room, the music was loud and bothersome throughout the night.

It is very reasonable priced

Downtown, not for the international tourists. Bollywood club very noisy until 3am. Not pleasant for swf. Breakfast poor. Far from shopping center and as taxi's do not come cheap in Dubai - be prepared to pay your way. Unless you have a bus pass -you cannot make use of the public transport. My room was never cleaned during my stay

The beds are really comfortable and the room service is quite fast.

Utilities close at 7 pm which is a bit too early, especially in summer. Though we had some complimentary meals, they are generally over priced for a three-star hotel.

The fact that they were surprised that I got the rooms at such a great rate and they were not happy about it. They even mentioned that this rate has toi be changed to a higher rate!!!!!

Difficult to locate with GPS, staff could not guide correctly. If not getting valet parking it is an area of concern. Their normal check out timing is 12:00 noon, upon request extended till 2:00 pm. Late check-out (till 4:pm) offered by Booked.net was no respected by hotel staff. (He said he don’t know about this.) Bit nosiy room at 3rd floor because of night club.
